Sappada Tower

One of the most amazing climbs in the area surrounding the De Gasperi Lodge is undoubtedly the ascent to Torre Sappada, a forked satellite of the Clap Grande. It rises close to the fork of Clap Grande along the rocky ridge between the forks of both the Alpino and Clap Grande.

The entire climb takes place in an austere and solitary Dolomite environment, alternating with a first part, essentially hiking, with the final section that leads mountaineers to the top on slightly more technical slopes.

An ideal climb for those who want to take their first steps tackling limited mountaineering difficulties, it is a little out of the way, rarely frequented, and will give you enormous satisfaction.
